Mrs. Carter grew up in Bakersfield and graduated from Ridgeview High School. After high school she attended and graduated from Fresno State University with a BS in Agriculture Education. During college Mrs. Carter worked at several of the units at the Fresno State farm including Dairy Processing, Equine, Swine, and was the Assistant Manager of the Fresno State Farmers Market. Mrs. Carter is happily married to her husband, Cory and they have two children; Gage (9) and Quinn (4). In her free time Mrs. Carter enjoys going on adventures with her family and shows reining horses competitively around the Western United States.

Mrs. Trentham went to high school in Fresno, California, where she was an active member of her FFA chapter. After high school Mrs. Trentham attended Reedley College, where she obtained an Associate’s Degree in Animal Science, before transferring to Fresno State. There she obtained her Bachelor’s in Agriculture Education and single subject teaching credential. During her time at Reedley College , Mrs. Trentham assisted at the Farm as well as in the Caterpillar Program. Mrs. Trentham also ran the floral CDE at Reedley College 2 years and 1 year at Fresno State. While attending Fresno State she also worked in the Floral Lab. In her down time Mrs. Trentham loves to camp and hike. She also loves spending time with her husband and twin children.

Mr. Leishman, or Mr. Awesome as he prefers to be called grew up in Tehachapi and graduated from Tehachapi High School. After high school Mr. Leishman attended Bakersfield College before transferring to Fresno State University, where he graduated with a BS in Agriculture Education. After graduating from Fresno State, Mr. Leishman obtained his Masters in Ag Education from Cal Poly, SLO. Mr. Leishman is happily married to his wife, Nichole and they have four children; Lee (9), Annalyse (7), Andrew (3), and Charlin (2 months). In his free time Mr. Leishman enjoys raising, showing and racing pigeons.

Mr. Wilke grew up in Taft and graduated from Taft High School. While in high school Mr. Wilke was an active member of the Taft FFA and raised hogs and cattle. After graduating from high school, Mr. Wilke attended Bakersfield College before transferring to Fresno State University. There he graduated with his BS in Agriculture Education and then went to work for Diversified Crop Insurance. After a few years working in the ag industry, Mr. Wilke decided to go back into Ag Education and started at Arvin High School. He joined Highland in 2022 and has done a tremendous job with the Ag mechanics pathway. Mr. Wilke is happily married to his wife Teighlor, who is also at Ag teacher at West High school, and they have one son, Rhett (3) and another little one on the way. In his spare time Mr. Wilke and his family enjoy visiting their vacation home in Tahoe and going on adventures together.
